warning on creating new email message

I am using Outlook 2002. Every time I click on the "New" button to compose
a new mail message, I get the following warning:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?"

"If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No"."

There is then a check box to allow access for a specific amount of time.

Options are "Yes," "No," and "Help."

I don't feel I should have to deal with this warning every time I want to
send an email, or every time I start Outlook, whatever the case may be. Does
anyone know how to disable it?

Thanks,

Jason Merrill

Your feelings have no bearing on it. You're probably using Word as your
email editor and have an add-in like Adobe Acrobat with the PDFMaker option
that doesn't conform to the Microsoft security model.

Either don't use Word as your email editor, disable the add-in causing the
problem, or see if the vendor of that add-in has fixed their application and
has a new version.

I switched to plain text composing without using Word and that solved the
problem. Thanks for your help.
