WBS numbering error

I'm working a schedule where I've included WBS numbering. For some reason the
last 54 tasks out of 1312 are one level off (one level lower). If I insert a
column with Outline Numbering, the Outline numbering reflects correctly. I've
used Help and can not reach a resolution. Tried PROJECT>WBS>RENUMBER however
the RENUMBER is grayed out. Have tried deleting the column and adding it
back, same results. Any ideas?

Try clicking on the WBS column header and selecting Edit-Clear-All.

The option in Project-WBS-Renumber is only available if you have defined a
custom definition for the WBS field.
