Web page hyperlinks

I am having problems saving Visio files as web pages.

Using default VML output format to publish 3 pages containing relative
hyperlinks between pages. When clicking the hyperlink I receive error
message:

"Internet explorer cannot open the internet site
Http://salesserv1/qa2Documet Library/1/Main Process_files/vml_1.htm"
Operation aborted.

When I output the file in SVG format the hyperlinks work fine - but
the pan & zoom navigation window does not appear. Very frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Visio 2003, on Windows XP, with IE 7.

Thanks

Just to update this post - I have since tried to view the same pages
using IE 6 and it works beautifully. This points to a bug with IE 7.
Some of our users are on IE 7, some on IE 6. This will create problems
for me.
Are there any Microsoft guys reading this post who could forward this
issueto the relevant people for resolution?

Thanks

Hi,
I had this same problem and posted a question. A cow-orker caught the
problem at the first glance. It was simple. The web page can't use any
spaces. It confusses the 'soft' ware. The file name MUST NOT....MUST
NOT...MUST NOT contain ANY spaces. The saved file name for the visio doc must
be as follows: First_Second_Third_Etc.vsd and when you publish you must
also use the same format but with the .HTM or HTML extension when you set it
to publish. If the underline is not what you want there may be other symbols
you can use to represent word breaks in the naming convention.
FURTHER.....when you link in any documents they must also be saved in the
same naming format. You need to use the full UNC pathname as the location to
the file. This would depend upon the server you have it saved on. For example:
\\ServerXYZname\DeptShare\SubShare\Topic_Lockdown_Procedure.htm
The fun part is to make sure each of the linked documents is saved in that
format. This may require either a duplicate copy of the file in question OR
the editing of other HTML documents/web pages. It's so micro-soft
Once you fix the naming format the problem should dissapear.

I don't believe the "no spaces" suggestion fixes the problem between the
visio 2003 output and IE 7. I'm old-school and am still in the habit of no
spaces in the file names. I still have hyperlink problems visio 2003 to IE 7.
