Weird problem with Microsoft Graph on OS X panther

Hi,

I ran into a customer today who had a weird problem with Microsoft graph.
She has embedded a chart within Powerpoint (office v. for mac). There is
data in this chart that will create pie graphs. Now, when she tries to edit
the data in Microsoft Graph which is in the "Y" axis the settings do not
save once we click on ok. Clicking on the "Y" axis gives us the dialog box
then we click on the "scale" categories. Once in that box, we modify the
settings. Lets say we give it random numbers. Then we click ok to save the
data. The previous data appears to be intact and not modified with the
numbers we have inputed.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are actually editing the labels, not
the data. You must edit the datasheet numbers and the
labels will update automatically.
That said, if you do change the labels, they will not
automatically update if you change the datasheet
afterwards. You must turn off the label option and turn it
back on.
