I want to change the Power Options that XP uses when the Welcome Screen is
displayed - that is when no user is logged on.

How do I do that?

Thanks, Carol

Well that's a WINDOWS XP question and not a Word question. However, the
power settings you see depend on the settings in Display Properties, Screen
Save Tab, Power button. Also they will be affected by some of the Power
options found in the BIOS setup. Much also depends on the age of your
computer. For example, you won't find Hibernate in an old Pentium I or II
PC.

OOPS - sorry - I clicked on the wrong newsgroup in my list. Will repost to
XP.

Thanks for your reply, Carol
