What format does Publisher save files in?

I'm looking into purchasing Publisher to use in a small business. What
formats can I save files in, and can I convert them to .pdf using PDF Create!?

I don't know about PDF Create! in particular, but Publisher saves files as
..pub.

Most programs convert to .pdf not by opening the file with a PDF program,
but by printing to a PDF driver. If PDF Create! supports this method, then
you can use it with Publisher. Otherwise, you can download the free
PrimoPDF from www.primopdf.com
