What if PowerPoint is suddenly absent from my Office?

PowerPoint seems to have dropped out of my Office (pre-installed on my Dell
with Windows XP Pro). Where did it go? Should I re-install the Office suite,
or do something else? In addition I notice at least one template in Word
won't come up either. What gives?

Where did you look for PowerPoint? The Start menu? It's fairly easy to
accidentally remove a shortcut in the Start menu.

Did you try using Windows Search and searching for "powerpnt.exe"
(without the quotes).
