What is the best way to swap flow chart shapes?

I have a fairly extensive flow chart that has a bunch of shapes that I would
like to swap for different shapes. Is there a way to select the shape I want
to change and then click on the shape that I want to swap it with?

only if you used the "flowchart shapes" from the stencil. it is a special
case "multishape" that allows you to change it without replacing it.
otherwise it's a manual delete, insert new, reconnect....
