So, I received an image from my client. For some reason, they decided
that the image should be sent as a word document (It was *just* a
picture...it should have been tiff or jpg or something. I have no idea
why it was inserted into otherwise blank word doc). I tried to
copy/paste into Photoshop first, using RGB color and it didn't work
right. Color was all messed up. Tried several different color format
(CMYK, etcs) but none of them worked. Same problem.
I manage to find the solution by saving the document as webpage.
But this made me think...how is the image files stored in the word? Is
it in some sort of proprietry format? I have sort of solved the
problem so I don't need an answer right now, but I'd like to know...
