What's the difference between Office 2003 and Office XP?

M

Maureen

Is one better than the other? I'm looking to upgrade and we use it for
personal as well as business use. I run XP for an OS but currently have
Office 2000.

Thanks in advance.

Maureen,
See the specifications for each product here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/compare.mspx
Keep in mind that Office XP and Office 2003 have different life cycle
support. The older the product, the less time you have for support from MS.
Refer here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;lifeOffice for
further information.
Also there are other applications built to run with Office 2003, One Note
for example:

use the Office Online web based newsreader here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx
In Office System 2003 applications:
Help/Assistance Pane/open Communities

what's the difference between office 2000 and office 2003? from the end users
standpoint...i have already read the info. at microsoft.com on editions. Is
it worth the upgrade or wait until the next version comes out.
Doe anyone know when a new MS Office might be coming out?
