where did bigint go?

I am using Visio for enterprise architects with an ODBC
connection to a SQL 2000 database. I have a large
diagram (320 tables). Today I tried to add a column to a
table and bigint is not on my drop down list. It used to
be. Now when I go to look at my tables that I know have
bigints in them, they are displayed on the diagram as
int. They are also shown in the properties box as having
ints. When I tell it to show me the differences between
the SQL database and the diagram, it does not say they are
different. When I look at the SQL database, they are
bigints.

HELP!

Hi Sherry,

Make sure the driver setting for Visio is set to 2000 and not 7.0 (Database
| Options | Drivers... then click Setup, Preferred Settings and make sure
Preferred Version is "2000").

Hope that helps,
Scot.
