Several of us have MS Project Server 2003 professional on our desktops. We
all have Collaborate on the toolbar to do the Publish and other tasks. Except
1 person -- he doesn't have it! Where did it go? Looking at Tools, Options
and the Collaborate tab in his version of MS Project Server Professional, it
does have the same server listed in the "Collaborate Using" field as everyone
else. How can he get his Collaborate back on the tool bar???
In advance, thanks for the assist!

Ask the user to open Microsoft Project and do the following:

1. Click Tools - Customize - Toolbars
2. Click the Toolbars tab
3. In the list of toolbars in the dialog, select the Menu Bar option
4. Click the Reset button
5. Click the Yes button when prompted

Let us know if this helps.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for the response. I went to get the person to try your solution,
only to find that he had fixed it. His way of fixing it was to:
1. right-click on the empty area next to the tool bar (to open the menu list)
2. select "customize"
3. In the 'customize' dialog box, select the "command" tab.
4. Select the "built-in menus" item from the "categories" field.
5. From the "commands" field, scroll down to the "Collaborate" item.
6. Left click to elect "collaborate" and continue holding the mouse button
down, drag "collaborate" up to the toolbar.

So, I don't know whether your fix (below) does work. But, thank you again
for the assist!

I think the user went to WAY too much work to fix the problem, but if it
works for him, it works for me! :)
