where do I turn off automatic menus

JJ Runnion

I know there was a place to turn off the auto menu feature in Office, but I
can't remember where it was or what the darn thing is called so a search will
reveal the secret to this annoying "feature"

thanx!

thanx. i couldn't remember what they call it ... and even the help files
call them automatic menus, not "personalized menus" (one of my complaints
about microsoft products is how difficult they make things for the
experienced user in order to make it easier for the novice ... and call
things by different names, too!).

thanx again,
