Where does one find the Contacts in Outlook 2002?

Where does one find the Contacts in Outlook 2002 (on my "C" dive?)
Is there something in particular I need to be searching for?

All Outlook data is in one file. The file you need to look for is your
Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts
etc are stored.

A little background. My wife's computer died (motherboard), which was
replaced. In the aftermath, the original hard drive "C" could not be
recognized when the PC was re-assembled and started. I then installed a new
larger hard drive as the "C" drive, re-installed Windows XP and Office XP
and used the original "C" drive as a storage device which is now the "D"
drive. Now I figured that I could import her e-mail, contacts, etc. from "D"
into "C." I imported an Outlook .pst file that brought back all of her
e-mail and folders but, the contacts are no where to be found :~) Any
advise?

Sounds to me like you imported the archive.pst which would contain message
folders but not Contacts. Search for and open other PST files until you find
the Contacts.

PST file can not be opened, although I have the capability via software
called Quick View Plus. All it shows is machine language.

Explain what you mean by "PST file cannot be opened." Only Outlook can open
PST files. Use the File > Open command.

Surely he wants to open the "Contacts" - which are not in his pst file,
he's surely talking about the Personal Address Book.

Dan, if this is the case, search for a .pab file.

Unlikely a PAB file would have been in use.

Try just opening the .pst file from the "File>Open..." menu item in Outlook.
Don't import it.
