Where to find previous updates for Office 2008?

Hi I tried to install the service pack for office 2008 but when I started
installation it gave an error because I need some extra updates not installed
previously.
Where can I find all the updates available for Office 2008?
How to determine which updates should I need?

Thanks

Which Service Pack did you try to install -- there are 2 of them for Office
2008. Both include the interim updates which preceded them so you shouldn't
need to go any further back than SP1 (12.1.0) plus SP2 (12.2.0) followed but
12.2.1 (the latest interim update). You should be able to run Check fo
Updates form the Help Menu of any Office app or directly run AutoUpdate from
your Applications folder. Also, all are available from the Mactopia Downloads
page.

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.mspx

If you continue to have difficulty there is something else amiss, but in
order to assist with anything of this nature we need to have *specifics* of
what your current update level is, the exact update you're having trouble
with, the exact wording of any dialogs or error messages, plus an additional
details. Your specific update status of OS X is also significant.

Just off the top of my head--- ya' think maybe it's worth taking a look at
the support/download section on the Microsoft website? Do ya', huh?
