Why am I unable to see BCWS values for tasks?

I inherited some project schedules. When I view the Earned Value table the
BCWS value for certain tasks are $0. This is despite the fact that resource
costs and work are allocated for the tasks. These schedules are baselined.

Has anyone faced similar problems? How can I resolve them?

May be some resource Standard Rates have been set *after * the schedules are
baselined ?

Can anything be done to rectify the situation and get a BCWS value? Do I
have to rebaseline?

The second common problem is that the status date is not correct. Go to the
project menu, select project information and see what the status date is set
to. If it is at the beginning of the project then BCWS is by definition = 0.

Yes, if you want a baseline with the correct cost information you must set
it now.
