why can i not see all my contacts?

When in outlook 2003, i have entered say 50 contacts and i can see all of
them. but any additional contacts i enter i cannot see - although when i
search for the name i can find it... why can i not see it all the time?

How and where are you entering these Contacts?
How many Contacts Folders do you have?
