Why can't I copy and paste images from the web straight to powerpo

I'm using M Office 2003 in Windows XP on a brand new Dell 8400. I have been
able to c & p without problems on every other computer I have ever used
without having to make any adjustments so now I'm stumped. Help please.

Since you haven't provided details about what happens when you try to copy
and/or paste, I can't answer your question. I can, however, tell you that maybe
it's good that you are having trouble with that process because it can cause you
difficult problems later. Instead of using copy/paste, save the image to your
hard drive and then use Insert > Picture > Picture from File.
