Hi
I created a drawing, saved it as a .png, and now I want to edit the drawing.
When I open it up, it is a solid object that I cannot ungroup. It has a solid
white fill behind the objects. All I can do to it is resize it. ANy help
please?
Thanks
Phil

Save as is not the same as editing. You'll have to go back to the original
drawing.

Hi
I meant to imply that I saved the doc as a .png yesterday, and today I
opened the file from my hard drive to edit it and it did not open in an
editable state. It appears to be a single grouped object, the background of
which is a solid white. All I can do to it is change the size. I can't
ungroup it, which is what I want to do.
Thanks
Phil

PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is presentation format (like GIF, JPG, BMP),
not authoring (editeable) format. It just keeps the compressed bitmap, all
vectors/shapes are gone. It was designed as GIF successor.
