WHY CAN'T I WORD PROCESS IN MICROSOFT WORD 2003

My Word 2003 doesn't work. I cannot do word processing. No fonts are shown.
No styles are shown. When I type, nothing happens. Any help out there??

Have you activated?

Have you installed a True Type compatible printer? Not sure about styles,
but fonts require that a True Type compatible printer be installed {the
printer does not need to be connected}.

Have your tried Help, Detect and Repair?
