Why do I have to........

M

Mike Jones

When I am reading messages in my Inbox, I can not see new
messages until I click on a different folder within
Outlook. When I move on to another folder, then it shows
that I have a new message. This problem exists in another
form when I send messages. I compose a message, and send
it. It then shows as being in my Outbox. When I click on
the Outbox, it then sends. However, if I do not click on
the Outbox, it sits there showing as a message ready to be
sent.

We sue Microsoft Exchange as our e-mail server. I have
been using my computer for about eight weeks, and this
problem just started about five days ago.

Any help that leads to a solution will be compensated with
a latte'!!

The latte bit almost put me off :), what version of Outlook and what
operating system and do you know if you are running ISA server, it sounds
very much like UDP packet are being blocked, these packets force a refresh
of Outlook and are sent by Exchange.
