Why do my images not work?

I am using publisher 2003 and I am trying to create our regular business
newsletter. The pictures I paste into the document look fine when opened
on the computer I created it on. But when I e-mail the newsletter, my
pictures dissappear and they are represented by the white square with a red X
in it. How do I fix this problem?

Because if you use Outlook to create the email you'd have to have the image url absolute and the image stored on the internet somwhere...outlook doesn't embed the image.

Use Outlook Express, it embeds the image...much mo' easier.

This is weird. I haven't read the answers yet, but I just came on to ask
almost the same question. My imagines in my saved Publisher files (projects
I've done, mainly address labels) - that used to be there are now gone. And
just boxes with box X in them. So, if I bring up a project I have saved,
like to print it again, the image that was on it is gone.

I'll read the answers here and ask my question if I still need to.

I have Pub 2000.

Red Xs in the corner, or black Xs across the entire of each frame?
If it's the latter, you need to set your options in View > Picture Display
to something other than Hide Pictures.
