why does clip art not open in letter format

I am having trouble getting clip art to open when writing a letter,i have
downloaded some pics and saved them in my doc but cant use these and the clip
art setting is not working.

What version of Office are you using?

How are you trying to open clip art? You said you're having trouble getting
it to open, but you haven't told us what exactly it's doing or not doing. Do
you get an error message?

You mentioned you'd downloaded some pix and saved them in your doc, but
you've said you can't use these. Why not? Do they not appear in the document?
Or are they just not the clips you want?

Please give us more information so we can help you. Remember, we can't see
