Why is slide content lost when opening file on different computer.

A powerpoint file I have constructed on my laptop seems to lose certain
slides (They appear blank) when I open the file on my other computer. Does
anyone know what would cause this?

What version of PowerPoint do you have on the systems? If PowerPoint 2003, have
you applied Service Pack 1? Go to Help > Check for Updates and follow the
links.
