why might a signature disappear when replying to a message?

My boss says that when she replies to my messages, her signature disappears
from the e-mail. Apparently, this doesn't happen when she replies to other
people.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Is she replying to the other messages or is she composing new ones. She may
not have a signature assigned for "replies and forwards" but has one for
"Signatures for new messages." This can be found under Tools -> Options ->
Mail format. Look for "Signature for replies and forwards" under the
Signature section. Make sure there is a signature chosen and that it does
not say "None." Hope this helps!
