Why won't my .wav file not play in my PowerPoint slide show?

I have added a .wav file to play music during my slide show but it will not
play...

Choose Tools, Options and go to the General tab.
Set the value next to "Link sounds with file size greater than" to 50000 kb.
Re-insert the wav file so that it can be embedded.
Will it play now?

Thank you, it did play after changing the file size to 50000 kb.
