Why would my Products Key be invalid? I have never used my Office.

S

Sandy

I just started working for a private company and I am the only person in the
Office setting that runs the computer. The owner just recently purchased this
Gateway Notebook and I am trying to activate the MS Office Program, but the
activation fails because it says the Product Key # is invalid.

I don't know what to do now. I really need this Office program to do my job
here at Feeler Tree Service.

Did you double/triple check to make sure you've entered the correct product

This would be the product key on the piece of paper attached to the Office
CD sleeve that came with the computer or the piece of paper that is provided
by Gateway (OEM product). It is NOT the product key that is located on the
bottom of the notebook.

Thank you. I forget that some people don't (or won't) read anything on the
sticker except the key.
