Will Office 97 work OK on XP Home Edition?

I am presently using Office 97 on a Windows 98 operating system. I have
bought a new computer with XP operating system. Will I be able to use my old
Office 97 on my new computer? If so, is a new driver in order?

I used to have Office 97 running on my windows XP Pro computer until I got
Office XP

If it was not an "OEM" version you should be able to use it. "New
Driver"? Drivers are necessary to install hardware so the operating
system may allow you to use it, so it shouldn't be an issue.
