Will Office Professional Edition 2003 work on XP Home Edition?

I've been thinking about purchasing Office Pro Ed 2003 for a home computer.
The home computer has XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2. I noticed
that the System Req for Office Pro Ed is XP Professional.

So my question: Will Office Pro 2003 work on the home computer if it has XP
Home Edition and not XP Professional?

Office Pro 2003 works wonderfully on both Windows XP Home and Professional.
