Wizard suddenly disabled

My access 2000 wizards, command buttons, option buttons, check boxes,
etc for my forms has suddenly and unexplainably been disabled, does
anyone know how to 're-enable' those?

Depress the Wizard button (the wand with the falling stars) in the
tool box.

All that does is take me to visual basic, it's not prompting the wizard.
