Word 2000 Table of Contents

I have used Table of Contents in various Word 2000 or
newer and in TOC you can disable hyperlink when
formatting TOC.
My version I have on my home computer doesn't have that
feature because everytime I format a TOC I get hyperlink
and I know you can disable it when starting to put the
TOC together

Word 2002 and 2003 do offer a check box for this purpose in the Table of
Contents dialog. Word 2000 does not; in that version you have to display the
TOC field code (Alt+F9) and delete the \h switch, then Alt+F9 to toggle back
and F9 to update.

Note that page numbers will still be hyperlinked, as in earlier versions,
but the TOC entries will not.
