Word 2000 - Track Changes

I have a manuscript in Word 2000 (it is about 65,000 words) that two people have
reviewed using "track changes". I sent them both copies of the original word file.

What I would like to do is print out both reviewers copies - including their
suggested changes - and then compare them to my original. There are quite a few
reasons why I want to print them out rather than use document compare in Word.
Can this be done? I can find nothing about this in the Word 2000 Help.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have Word 2000, so I'm not sure what the exact option is in that
version, but in the "Print what" box in the Print dialog, look for an option
such as "Document with markup."

In your document go to Tools > Track Changes and select Highlight Changes in
Printed Document. Then print your document as normal.

Thank you Genine...that was exactly what I was looking for.

Much appreciated.

Glad to help. But I have to say that life would be much easier if Microsoft
left the menu options in the same place when they updated versions of Word
though!

LOL....I know what you mean.

Personally I am tempted to go back to Word 97 at times...just for its simplicity
and ease of use. I had so many strange issues with Word XP that I gave up on it
and reverted to Word 2000. Even that has too many options for what I am working
on to be honest.

Word is a great product, and I could never imagine using anything else, but boy
do Microsoft know how to make it complicated!

My thanks again.
