Word 2000

I have a Word 2000 document with a number of graphics
images in it - mostly edited screendumps. One of them
seems to have become detached from its proper place in the
document and now it appears over the top of wherever you
are on the page. However, you can't select it with the
mouse!! It's very annoying!! It's left hand side appears
to be beyond the left page margin - so I suppose that may
explain why I can't select it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Display the Drawing toolbar and click on the Select Objects tool (big white
arrow on the left end). This will allow you to click on a graphic without
touching text. If it's appearing on every page, it may have become anchored
to the header, so View | Header and try this.
