When I upload images and graphics to my FTP space with AOL, the images do not
display. There is a box with an x. I used ms word 97 on my old computer and
loved it, the program was so simple. I can't figure out this 2002 version.
I'm about to go CRAZY! I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Nor can I get background images to load on my web page.
Please HELP! Before I lose my mind!

When you create a Web page (in Word or any other app), the images are not
(usually) embedded in the file. They are saved in a separate folder. In
Word, this will, by default, be a subfolder named <filename>_files. You need
to upload this folder along with the Web page. Unfortunately, you may find
that Word has changed the links in the page to absolute links to your HD;
the only workaround may be to change the absolute links to point to the
appropriate folder in your Web space.
