Word 2003 acting weird

Hello, I am using Word 2003 and within the last few weeks some of my
"features" have stopped working or are working intermittently. The first one
I noticed is when you are opening a file and place the cursor over the file
name, a box "pops up" with the file type, size, author and date last
modified, etc. Mine no longer has the date last accessed. Also I frequently
select multiple "old" files and drag and drop into separate folders, this no
longer works either. I can cut/copy them to the folder, just not select,
drag/drop. Third, my Auto Text entries work sometimes. I've noted that they
won't work on the first page, but will on the second page, but sometimes they
work on the first page too.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your advice Peter, I had not yet tried that, but I just did and it
did not help the problem.
