I just got a new Dell with Word. Whenever I try to close
a read only (anything I type is OK) document, it takes
about 30 seconds for the document to close. I don't
recall this happening when I first started using Word
(about 2 weeks ago) on my new computer. I never had this
problem with Word on my old Windows 98. I probably
changed some setting while I was typing my first few
documents, but I have no idea what. Any help?
