Word and Printing

When I print a word document my system is bogged down and very slow. This is
a relatively new problem. I used to be able to print and then work with
different applications at the same time, now my system (Windows 2000) is very
slow and I'am not able to work in other applications. I can't find help with
this issue anywhere, can you please help?

If you print an Excel document and it is also very slow - then the
problem lies with your OS / Printer subsystem - not Word.

yes, Excel bogs down the system as well, how can I fix this?

Did you change to a new printer? Are you working with lots more colour
than bevor? Try printing in PDF - it works wonders with me. You need
the PDF Factory to print docs.
