Word cross-references out of footnotes

It appears that you cannot do cross references out of
footnotes or endnotes. They do not appear to update as
cross-references do out of the main text when pagination
is changed.

Is that in fact the case and/or is there some way of
overcoming this problem.

Hi Robin

Try ctrl-a then F9 (that updates most fields). And then, File > Print
Preview (which should update the rest).
