Word data recover?

Ok, so I got a phone call from grandma. So the details on what actually
happened may be a bit fuzzy. But basically she is writing a very long
document, and she has been saving it at about every paragraph, however she
hasn't been making back up copies of the file! Anyhow, now when she opens the
document, its blank. It seems that maybe she accidentally deleted all the
text and then saved it.

does anyone know if I can backtrack 3-5 days to get the file back?

please let me know!

Since no one else seems willing to give you the bad news, I might as
well...

The only way to "backtrack" after saving over a file is to restore the
(nonexistent) backup.

To prevent further disasters, the next time you visit grandma, install
one of the macros at http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm
(with instructions at http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm if
needed).
