When i open a document from within word program all is fine. Same document
opened from window explorer has lost drop down command functions for
edit, tools, insert, ect. and the toolbars are all different from what has
been set up in the word, the defaults for opening a doc in explorer seem all
screwed up and it is a pain everytime I open to fix. I have tried changing
the toolbars but it does not remember them. Normal file in word is fine. All
started when I convert and imported a bunch of docs from my PDA, don't know
why it would cause this though. I have latest virus protection and used it.
Can anyone share some ideas...seems like word has a problem, asks to save to
normal a lot more now too. Tried to run repair utility from word, did not
seem to help, my have done it wrong. If I reinstall word from office basic
disk will I lose anything, I heard may lose all my contacts, calender nad
mail. HELP.
