Word Document and Styles - Change???

I moved a word document (2002) onto the server so others
could modify....everytime I or someone else opened
it...the document had wacked styles, no styles or
reverted back to different kinds of styles (after I had
gone thru the entire document and tagged it using
styles)??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Edie

My first suggestion is to open the document and check Tools > Templates
and Add-ins. Make sure that the "Automatically update document styles"
box is *not* ticked.

If that doesn't help, post back and describe the symptoms in some more
detail. In what way are the styles whacked? Where are you looking when
you see no styles?
