Hello,
Some people have problems when opening word documents that we send them (our
mail browser is outlook 2003). The same word documents are opened easily by
many other people.
It drives us mad as we cannot find out what is the problem.
Error message:
The original contents of this file have been replaced with this message
because of its characteristics.
File name: "offerte.doc"
Virus name: "CorruptedCompressedFile"
I have searched on the internet and found that there is a problem in a
Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange (the advise installing a hotfix on
exchange servers). They describe the problem as not correctly recognizing the
uuencode header in the document.
What is the uuencode header in the word document? Can we fix this somehow
without asking system administrators in other companies to install the hotfix?
Thank you,
Zoran
