I type a Word document. Save as: (give folder a name). An
icon appears in task bar above Start task bar shows a book
that has an "X" across it. I found this became a "Read
only document". If it leaves the book icon with a check
mark, it was saved correctly.
What is happening that I can't save correctly. I NEVER
SAVE as "Read Only" documents. Just about everytime, I
get a message that says it is in use and can not be
accessed. What do I need to do to have MS Word operating
correctly to save documents.
I also have trouble making a file (right clicking on the
desk top..choose to make a folder and name it..then type a
Word document and save it to the folder. Will not allow
me to do so. Help! help!
