Word, Excel documents can't save

Aya_be

I've just started to have this problem.
When opening word or excel documents and trying to save. The documents
are force quitting and a warning saying " The application Microsoft
Word has unexpectedly quit" appears.
Could you please give me a possible solution on this?

Are you using add-ins that you didn't use before this happened?

No I'm not... I'm just using word and excel for data updating and
making a letter etc..
Do you have any idea on this matter? It's quite annoying and I really
need help!

The only thing I can think of is to repair file permissions. Oh, one more
thing. If you have more than one drive, try the other or try to save to
something like a USB memory stick. If this doesn't work, I think you will
need to remove and reinstall Office.

I have reinstalled Office already, but still the same thing happens
and I can't save new documents or even insert any pictures onto
documents.

Hi Aya_be,

See this page, which will tell you how to repair permissions and suggest a
lot of other troubleshooting tips (at least for Word) to work through.
However, note that if you reinstalled without running the Remove Office tool
first, you may have made things worse.

(hit refresh a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)

This page also has links to a lot of troubleshooting information for both
Word and Excel:
