Word is analyzing documents

Dr. Indera

hello,

i get the message in the subject line every time i open a word document (i
have word 2003).
i searched in the help system, but couldn't find any information on this.
i'm hoping someone can tell me how to turn this "feature" off, because it is
causing the documents to take longer to open then they usually do <smile>.

thank you.

Hi Indera,

Another person who reported this thinks it was coming
from the use of a version of Adobe's PDFMaker.DOT template
listed in Tools=>Templates & Add-Ins.

Another suggestion is that it results from using "Keep track of formatting."

hi bob,

i have pdfmaker.dot and pdfmakerA.dot.
the first one is checked, the second one isn't.
do you remember if the person ever said anymore?
i've been using adobe acrobat for a long time.
i actually installed it the same day i installed office, when i bought the
laptop last year.
thanks
