Word suddenly shuts down!

Half way through typing a document in word it suddenly
closes!!! No error messages it just disapears! I have done
a complete registry removal and reinstall but still the
same problem!! Does anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same problem as Leanne
Word xp shuts down automatically by itself
no error message appears and no error log is registered in
event viewer.
can anyone advise what to do?

We have also experienced this same problem. Any ideas on
a fix for this would be great. I did not find anything in
Microsoft's knowledgebase.
