Word Task Bar - General Templates Link

Quite often when I click on the General Templates link it does nothing, the
only way I can access my templates when it does this is to close and re-open
word. Any suggestions.

I also have a few machines with this problem and cannot find any resolution.
If anyone has a fix please let us know.
