Word Template how do you set default?

Hi,
I am using word 2003 and I would like to set the view the
same as the default in the previous version of word, the
current view has removed the vertical margins and is a
mess.

What, for you, is "the previous version of Word"?

Generally Word will open a document in the view and at the
Zoom at which it was saved. And when Word starts up new, it
uses the settings of the last document that was closed. So
there really is no "default" setting for the view.

Can you be more specific about what you want? Have you tried
recording a macro that reflects making the settings you
prefer?
