Using Word 97 SR-1 with Win 98se. I use many different templates on a daily
basis. Word has decided all of a sudden that it will not open any of them.
When I click on a shortcut to a template Word opens then the template opens
but closes again and this error message appears "Cannot find the file {path
to file} or its components. Make sure the path & filename are correct and
that all the required libraries are available".
Having OK'd out of this, if I click the shortcut again a very small blue box
appears momentarily and than the template opens as usual.
Another, possibly related, problem. Normal.dot opens ok but always opens as
document 2. There is no sign of a document 1.
Anybody got any advice on this please?
