I have a user that is running Word XP. When she is typing a document in
Normal view the AT position and line number is grayed out and does not
display any information. In addition it does not show when you reach the end
of page by showing a page break. I can't seem to figure this one out. How
do i reset this back to the default behaviour.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | check the
"Background repagination" box | OK.

I am glad to hear you have resolved this issue by turning on the
"Background repagination" check box.

When you encounter any similar issue, you can refer to the following
